Satomi is a master of Japanese style shibari, having trained for a number of years under a Nawashi in Osaka, Japan.  Resident in Osaka, she is a regular cabaret performer at Japanese fetish clubs, as well as offering classes in traditional Japanese rope, fetish modeling with appearances in leading magazines such as Skin Two, and appearances at international shows around the world, such as Torture Garden, often in conjunction with her husband, Lukas.

Satomi has twice before appeared at The Fetish Ball in Christchurch, in 2004 and 2005, and her whole-day shibari workshops have also been popular and well attended.
