X is a Dominant who works within the BDSM community to help people improve their skills and their understanding of the lifestyle, so that the community as a whole improves. He has authored numerous articles on lifestyle topics, and enjoys giving demonstrations on fireplay, flogging, training, development of Dominance skills, protocol, positions and other subjects. X has taught classes from New York and Washington, DC to the Pacific Northwest, and from the Canadian to the Mexican borders, including presenting several presentations at Black Rose Society events.

X is an active member of the Dallas-Fort Worth community, and has served on the boards of both several groups there, at one time or another. Other than that, X describes himself as a decent enough Dominant and a serious student of the lifestyle who happens to write and speak in a manner that helps people learn. He also thinks of himself as a nice, normal male who happens to like corrupting and owning nice, normal females.
